Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-09
This privacy policy describes how Dry Ice Blasters Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores and protects personal information you provide via this website and our services. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Business status. Dry Ice Blasters launched in 2026 as a specialist dry ice cleaning service. The example scenarios published under /projects/ illustrate how typical jobs run across each service vertical — they are drawn from industry-standard work patterns, our team's prior operator experience and equipment specifications, and are explicitly labelled as example scenarios rather than real customer case studies. We will only publish a real customer case study with the customer's written permission.
Information we collect
- Contact information — name, email, phone number, postcode — when you submit a quote request, contact form or newsletter signup.
- Job details — vehicle/asset descriptions, service type, condition, timeline, budget — when you provide them via our forms.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited — collected automatically through analytics (only with your consent).
- Communication records — copies of correspondence you send us by email or form submission.
We do not collect or store payment card details, government identity numbers (TFN, Medicare, passport), bank account details or sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act.
How we use your information
- To respond to your quote requests and provide the services you've asked about.
- To match you to the nearest operator in our network.
- To send the confirmation, guide PDFs and follow-up communications you've consented to receive.
- To improve the website and our services (analytics — only with your consent via the cookie banner).
- To meet legal obligations.
How we share your information
Form submissions are routed to our service partner Lead Media (hello@leadmedia.cx) which manages lead intake and routing on our behalf during this stage of the business. Your contact and job details are then handled by the operator in our network responsible for your area (currently corporate operations from the NSW Central Coast). We never sell your personal information to third parties.
We use the following processors to deliver this service:
- Formsubmit.co — form-submission email delivery
- Vercel — site hosting and serverless functions (data stored in Australia / global edge)
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous site analytics (consent-gated)
If we add additional processors in future (CRM, marketing email, scheduling), this list will be updated and the cookie banner re-shown where consent is required.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep the site working. We use analytics cookies only with your explicit consent — you can decline them at the cookie banner and the site will continue to function normally. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.
Data retention
Lead data is retained for up to 7 years for taxation, business-record and dispute-resolution purposes. Analytics data is anonymous and retained per Google Analytics' default settings (14 months). You may request earlier deletion at any time (subject to overriding legal retention obligations).
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
To exercise any of these rights, email office@dryiceblasters.com.au.
Children
This site and our services are intended for adults — typically property owners, fleet/operations managers, restoration contractors, and trade customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
International transfers
Some of our processors operate globally. By submitting information through this site you consent to it being processed in jurisdictions outside Australia (primarily the United States and the European Union) under safeguards consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8.
