For: QA / food safety leads, plant managers, sanitation supervisors

Hot-clean ovens, conveyors and packaging lines without chemicals — HACCP-aligned, allergen change-over capable.

Your sanitation regime is built around cleaning chemistry, manual scraping and CIP cycles — but production keeps pushing for shorter changeovers, less downtime and fewer chemicals on site. Dry ice cleaning fits inside your HACCP program as a physical-removal step, with no rinse, no carry-over, no allergen contamination risk. We hot-clean ovens, sanitise conveyor belts during changeover, and remove caramelisation from filler heads — without taking your line offline for a full sanitation shift.

The pain points we hear most

  • Allergen change-overs eat hours of production time
  • Hot ovens need cool-down before chemical cleaning — losing a shift
  • Operator-cleaning programs miss build-up in hard-to-reach areas
  • Chemical inventory is expensive to manage and dispose of
Benefits

How dry ice solves them

No chemical residue

CO₂ pellets sublimate to vapour. Nothing to rinse, nothing to test for, no carry-over.

Hot-clean ovens

Bake plates, tunnel ovens and conveyors cleaned at temperature.

Allergen-validated change-over

Per-line procedure validated with QA, with swab evidence on each clean.

HEPA capture for airborne

Particulate captured to satisfy allergen and dust-control programs.

Compliance

Documented to your standards.

Every job in this vertical produces the documentation pack your auditor, adjuster or compliance team needs.

  • HACCP integration
  • cGMP-compatible procedures
  • ATP swabbing & verification on request
  • Allergen change-over validation

Food & Beverage — FAQs

Can we trial it on one line first?

Yes — almost all customers start with a single-line trial. We work with your sanitation lead to validate the procedure before any contract.

Is dry ice approved for food contact?

CO₂ pellets are food-grade and approved for use in food production environments. We integrate the procedure into your HACCP plan.

How does this fit into our existing CIP regime?

It complements CIP — handling the surfaces CIP can't reach (oven walls, external conveyor parts, packaging machinery). CIP continues for closed-system surfaces.

What about allergen risk?

Each clean is validated and swabbed where required. The lack of chemical carry-over actually reduces allergen risk versus residue-prone chemical cleans.

Do you cover late-night and weekend shifts?

Yes. Most food and beverage cleaning happens in changeover or weekend windows.
