Aspirational vehicles deserve concours-level cleaning at a daily-driver price. No water, no chemical residue, no risk to electronics.
You drive a car that's worth keeping immaculate — Tesla, AMG, M-Sport, Range Rover, premium 4WD. The trouble is most local detailers treat your engine bay like any other engine bay: pressure washer + degreaser + air gun. Modern cars don't survive that long-term. ECU connectors, MAF sensors, ignition coil leads — water gets into them and causes intermittent faults that are hard to diagnose and expensive to fix. Dry ice cleaning is the engine-bay process the manufacturer would specify if they had to. No water, no chemistry, no risk. Postcode-specific pricing in 90 seconds.
Pain points we hear most
- Pressure-washing modern engine bays causes intermittent electrical faults that surface weeks later
- Pre-sale presentation matters and a clean engine bay communicates "maintained"
- Chemical degreasers leave streaks on plastic loom covers
- Most local detailers don't have dry ice gear
- Lease-return inspections judge engine bay presentation
What you're looking for
- Speed (in and out within 4 hours)
- Transparent pricing (no "we'll see")
- Convenience (mobile service preferred)
- Reviews and before/after photo evidence
When does dry ice make sense for your daily-driver?
EVs, late-model European, and high-end performance cars have different drivers. Walk through the call.
Is the engine bay an EV, hybrid or has exposed sensors / wiring you do NOT want pressure-washed?
Does the bay have visible heavy grime, oil residue or a recent leak you need traced?
Dry ice pre-sale presentation clean
Lifts asking price meaningfully on premium European and performance cars. 2-4 hours; presentation-grade finish without water entry into ECU areas.
See this service →Dry ice — EV / hybrid safe
No water near HV components. Ideal for Tesla, Polestar, late-model German EVs. Standard pressure works around inverter and battery cooling lines.
See this service →Dry ice clean + leak inspection
After cleaning the bay, fresh leaks are immediately visible. Combine with a leak-trace inspection for diagnostic clarity.

A clean modern engine bay with no oil residue and no upcoming sale rarely justifies the spend. Re-evaluate at next service interval.
What customers like you ask before they book
Why should I pay $580 when steam cleaning is $200?
Steam introduces water into your ECU connectors, looms, MAF and other sensitive electronics. The faults from that show up weeks later, are intermittent, and often diagnose as 'replace the sensor'. The cost differential is hours of diagnosis vs minutes — dry ice is the cheaper route over the life of the car.
Will it actually look better than a normal detail?
Yes — and it'll stay looking better longer. Dry ice removes contamination layered on top of the surface without disturbing the surface itself. A normal detail leaves residue that traps the next layer of dirt; dry ice doesn't.
How fast can you do it?
A typical engine bay is 2–4 hours. Most jobs are booked within 5–7 days. Pre-sale rush jobs in 24–48 hours when capacity allows.

Daily's FAQs
Is it safe for my Tesla?
Yes — and it's the right method. EVs have more electronics in tighter spaces, which makes water-based cleaning higher risk. Dry ice is non-conductive and doesn't introduce moisture into HV connectors, contactors or BMS components.
Will it remove pre-existing paint chips or scratches?
No — those need touch-up paint or polish. Dry ice removes contamination, not surface damage. We'll point out any pre-existing damage in the pre-work photo log.
Can I drive away straight after?
Yes. There's nothing to evaporate. The engine can be started immediately after we're done.
Do you offer mobile service?
Yes — most metro postcodes are mobile-service. We bring the rig, the operator and the insurance to your driveway, garage or workshop bay.
How does the $349 voucher work?
First-time customers get a $349 voucher applicable to a standard engine bay clean (light-to-moderate condition, metro postcode). Use the voucher code at the quote form step or in the quote form.
